Green Policy
It is the intention to operate the business in an as environmentally friendly way as possible and to do the best by those around us. It is recognised that work may have a direct or indirect effect on the local and/or regional environment. Committed to reducing any harm that this may cause on the environment and persuading others to do the same, I endeavour to:
- Recycle absolutely everything possible.
- Reuse materials at every opportunity, for example, incoming packaging.
- Repair rather than throw away where possible.
- Utilise
electronic communication as much as possible, thus minimising use of
paper. It is also much more energy and
carbon efficient than physically sending hard copy.
- Print double sided or scale two pages per sheet whenever possible.
- Use multi-functional devices to reduce energy.
- Take care not to waste energy through inefficiency or casualness.
- Literature is written in plain English, telling the truth without hiding anything in the "small print".
- If something goes wrong, the problem is acknowledged and dealt with.
- Pay suppliers on time.
